Big Game Hunting

Stalking a bottle cap on the floor,
He's excited with his hunt today.
Clever kitty, crouched to spring,
the game hunter's hunting prey!

Slowly inching towards his goal
as he begins his deadly advance.
Slowly creeping, ever ready to spring,
that bottle cap doesn't have a chance!

At last he springs, ferocious in his attack,
Clawing and biting at the cap with glee!
He captures his prey in a frinzied battle,
then proudly displays it for all to see.

Now yawning, it's time to take a nap,
his hunting is over for today.
It's time to close his eyes and dream,
as he sleeps the rest of the day away.

The life of the cat!
