Neko spent his first few months of life living in a cage at a veterinarian's office where my sister, Elaine, worked. I stopped by to visit Elaine one day, and Neko was out of his cage for some exercise. He came over to where I was sitting, and started playing under my skirt! I thought that Sebi and Neko would love to play together, so I brought Neko home to meet Sebi. They made friends quickly, so we decided to keep Neko. Neko was named after the Windows program where a little cat chases your mouse around the screen, but it turns out that "Neko" is the Japanese word for "cat!"
