Three Cats

My three cats rule the house,
and they like resting on my bed.
Taking over all the covers,
sleeping at my feet and head.

They keep me warm at night,
as they curl up next to me.
Serenading with their purring,
happy just to be near me.

They watch my every move too,
as they follow me around all day.
They like to know just where I am,
and they're always playing in my way.

They're just like little children,
just wanting to be near.
They're so sweet and lovable,
each one to me is very dear.

They're sweet family members,
giving much friendship and love.
All they ask for in return,
is to be treated with kindness and love.
