To protect our cats, and to finally get the cat box OUTSIDE, we built this cat enclosure in the back yard. We used canopy framework, garden netting and a shade cloth over the top all held on with zip ties. It's not the nicest-looking enclosure, but it definitely does the job. The next step is to build a deck or platform under the enclosure and make a more solid frame for it - more like a rabbit hutch.
