The Food...

All of these pictures were taken from the Midnight Gala Buffet. It's not what we ate each night! We did have some wonderful dinners though in the Four Seas Restaurant. We ate Chateau Briand, Prime Rib, Roasted Breast of Turkey and so much more. Every meal came with dessert - we had Baked Alaska, Cherries Jubilee, Black Forest Cake, pumpkin pie and some really good browines. For breakfast, there was a choice of delicious omelettes, hot and cold cereals, pancakes, waffles, French toast, fresh fruit and lots more. We definitely ate too much! Each meal was a several-course affair with appetizers, starters, salad, bread, the main course, dessert and coffee afterwards! Each meal took about an hour too. |

<flower detail> One night during the cruise, the chefs held a "Gala Buffet." It took them over 200 hours to create all these edible works of art. |
This giant Sea Dragon was carved out of a single block of ice. The detail is amazing! (Click to see.) |

Here's a mermaid's face carved from a watermelon. She's a little-scary looking to me! |
I liked this watermelon carving much better! |
