KAYE AND ERIC'S HAWAII VACATION
Friday - we went to Kualoa Ranch.
At the ranch, they offer visitors several different activities...

The first thing we did was take a bus tour of the ranch. Here's Kaye enjoying the view. The bus was a rickety old school bus that had been modified - it was a real piece of junk! The windows were cut out and the whole thing was falling apart! On boarding the bus, we had to step over the hole in the floorboard or we'd have fallen through to the underside of the bus. Can you say lawsuit? haha	Any guesses as to what this picture is? Keep your mind out of the gutter now! Answer
Kualoa Ranch used to be a military fort. This is part of the old bunker. It goes deep into the mountain behind.	One of the openings in the rock face to allow access to the bunker.
We were allowed to go inside. There were lots of photos on the walls of the bunker. It was huge inside.	The view was gorgeous! The water was clear enough to see the reefs.
Look familiar?	Maybe this will help. Lots of movies and TV shows were /are filmed at Kualoa Ranch, including Jurrasic Park.

These structures were used in the movie, Mighty Joe Young.	This is the facade for the TV show, "The Byrds of Paradise." The back of the 'house' was empty and had a tree growing in it!
